LOL, sod Intel?
How are AMD more reliable and stable? Most stability issues, for both, in any recent times are caused by chipsets. Unless of course it's the AMD TLB bug which either makes your CPU perform really badly or causes mega instability of the system. Score Intel?

Most, if not all of the Core2 range use wayyyy less poewr than a near AMD equivalent and they do this by getting more information passed per clock cycle which leads to your next point, more efficient. AMD are trying to ramp up the clock speeds to get more performance and still struggle like hell.
Their 6000+ X2 was creamed by the E6xxx range which ran at slower clocks.
Their Quads are whipped by all of Intels, even after they fixed the TLB with a 'new' range.
All the above means the Intels, at stock, run much cooler and is why they are a clockers fave, a 15% overclock is simple on 'stock' cooling.

AMD are generally better? in the past, without a doubt, no arguments at all. Present? They have a hell of a lot of work to do and releasing a Triple-Core is not the way forward, but we'll see.

When they start having something to support again the people will rally I'm sure.

Oh BTW, I voted Intel
