Just an update for you all, regarding the proporta.com supposedly rapid repair kit, i ordered this kit online on 2006-08-04, and i have just recieved it at my house address today, and i have already completed the information sheet and advice, instructions that came with the kit, i have ensured that i have fully reset the device, so there is none of my personal data, on the pda, i will post the results and some pics of my newly replaced screen, and of course the total costs, just in case, anyone in the forum, needs any similar work done on their pda

Just for your info, i have received my new case, this morning and i can't believe it looks so good, it has excellent grip properties, on the edges, (small dots at the edges of the top) it looks very nice and shiny as you would exxpect it to, and there is room on the inside for two storage card and with the Tungsten C that means two types of storage card SD/MMC, neat i also think the clip could have been a little better thought of, ie it is very strong but the unit can/does spin round partly if you catch yourself off at an angle, but i do not think i will be using the clip, sometimes they can be good and sometimes not worth it, so i cannot wait until i get my pda back to test out my new shiny case ha ha

plus it has been professionally cut out, so that it can be synchronised whilst in the actual case, which will save a lot of hassle in the long run, btw i have tested teh fitting of the cards, tight as a virgin ha ha but will ease with time.

Over all this looks good, has all the correct qualities for a good and durable home for my pda

I am still waiting for a price from them yet, but it was all sent back, and the usual info sent to them as well, legal requirements and the such, and i have to wait, for them to email me a price yet??? terrible customer service i seem to be receiving these day's :-D
