Using Photoshop Brushes

Got a n00b question...

How exactly do you use downloaded brushes in PS??

I d/l a few and saved them in "PS\Presets\Brushes" but can't seem to find them when I open Photoshop!

Go to the brush panel and be sure to load them.

Yeah, I had the same problem as you Jamaal10, lol, but I sorted it out sooner or later.

EDIT: But I still don't know how to use a text font I downloaded and where I should place it in the photoshop directory. Can someone help me about that?

I add all my downloaded fonts in the windows main folder

Yeah, just put them in the OS font folder. Be careful though, because they sometimes get renamed when you move them!!

@$corpian, Copy and paste them into Controll Panell (switch to classic veiw)> Fonts, Easy!

I have to mostly create my own brushes when I draw in photoshop. I have to use curved brush, to make a real inking stroke.
