Favorite Star Trek Character

Who's your favorite Star Trek character? This goes for any Star Trek new or old, the movies, etc. So that counts the Original Star Trek, Next Gen, Deep Space Nine, Voyager, Enterprise, or any of the movies, 1-10. It can be any character, someone who only guested in one episode, movie, or a mainstay.

Hmm, I think I'll have to go with Data. He was always my favorite character. Brent Spiner isn't well known by name, but if you see him as the stereotypical mad scientist in Independence Day or the Goofy French Turkey clown (he had Andy **** as a captive, you know you've seen that movie) in Dude Where's my car, he's instantly recognizable. When he played Lore and Data, he was terrific. I especially like the eps where he plays Dr Nunian Sung, Data, and Lore, you really see a wide range of acting ability, particularly the one where he calls Lore and Data home. That was a great episode, and he played Lore's evil side to a hilt in that one and the eps where Lore is the new leader of the Borg. So who's your favorite Star Trek chararcter?

Yeah data was good.. it's hard to imagine that people wouldn't know the actors name.. he's been in quite a few things now other than star trek too.

My favourite though would probably still have to be warf... but more when he was on DS9 than the enterprise.. just something about his character that I loved because he was caught between the human and klingon sides of his nature... and you just had to laugh at his "tough act" sometimes, LOL

Nice Punq, love the Weyoun reference, he was killed and reincarnated a couple times. Worf is cool too, when he was on DS9, you saw a more raw, realistic Worf, not one that always bound by honor. His character was almost kinda cliched on Next Gen, he was generally very rigid and predictable. In DS9 you saw how he adapted to the loss of Kirzon Dax and came to realize he still had feelings for Ezri Dax (hot as hell btw).

Yeah, the guy from reading rainbow. I liked him too. LeVar Burton.

Avery Brooks is his name. He's been on broadway, and has a very rich acting background. As far as acting ability, I think he leaves any other Star Trek character in the dust. I loved him in American History X as the teacher. He was real, believable, and deep, much like the movie itself.
