Hello people

I have a little querie, is it possible to have a mac O.S and also Win XP O.S, both on the same pc, but obviously in different partitions, i know that it is possible to have a dual booting system, but i am not too sure if it can be applied to a mac o.s and a windows xp o.s
it is not really important, but we are always hearing people saying that macs are a better quality o.s to any other, i want to try and see for myself, and also to dispel any myth??
i love a challenge

You can dual boot Mac OS X and XP on a Mac, via Boot Camp....but I don't think it's possible to do the other way around (adding Mac OS to your XP system).

No, a mac is a different architechture if you like....

basically there ate only 2 kinds of PC, IBM systems and MAC systems.

IBM computers will run windows, dos, linux etc.. and until recently MAC systems would only run mac software.. I'm generalising, but it's the gist of it

Macs dont compare to a Windows

Macs can run Windows XP and Linux I believe. And you dont have to use Bootcamp to run Windows either there are alot of other programs to use to. And there is one that lets you run Windows XP without having an intel mac.

I would imagine osX can run Linux since it's based on a similar kernal anyways.

its is possable to emulate it but ive never had much sucess to be truth as far i got was to boot to setup but got no futher

but like i said i never actully got it working but people have, i was only trying to emu a g3 but in imo windows is much better than mac unless all you wanna do is surf,type, as so on

unless you have a new mac virtual pc sucks also

Virtual PC does suck... ALOT. I used to use Q its free and works on all Macs. Ive used it on my G4 and it worked great.
