Which one is better guys? Just want to know you alls take on it, its for my IT class.

Depends on what your taking IT for, Mac is really only good for Multimedia purposes such as Graphic/Web design, animation, or video production. I'd suggest a Window's platform only because there is more functionality, such drivers and software, plus the opportunity for great performance and an option for Dual-Booting Linux easily.

Im going to give a bias answer, PC
. Im a gamer/programmer, so PC fits me well. I run Linux and Windows, and its a well set combination.

I use Ubuntu and Fedora. Personally I like Ubuntu better, cause at my work, we are making a "re-builted ubuntu" live cd that will have a basic setup (ie. open office, firefox, etc). The reason for it, is under wraps, but its easy money selling it at school :P

Ehh, I use Ubuntu in my dual-boot now, only issue I have with it is with my graphics card, Ubuntu seems to have issues supporting the ATi driver, messes up the XServer everytime (have to boot into recovery menu and reset it or else I get what I like to call the Linux BSOD (Black Screen of Death) at bootup. What are the main differences between Fedora and Ubuntu? I'd like to know, for I may switch to Fedora, I'm also considering openSUSE.
