Download tracking??

Hey guys
i think that my internet provider may be ripping me off by adding to my download!! because when i check my downloads i often have gone over 100mbs in a small session, take today as an example i have been at work all day and when i got home i turned on my comp, and didn't download anything besides looking at web sites; hotmail, XS, and various google searches.
i just checked my downloads today and i have racked up 171mb's??
So is there anyway of tracking my downloads with a 3rd party program??

There might be something to monitor your bandwidth monthly. You can check each session in windows by double clicking you network connection icon in the taskbar. It will tell you bytes sent and received for the current session, and when the current session started. You could try something like this maybe:

SourceForge.net: FreeMeter Bandwidth Monitor For Windows

It's freeware and looks like it will give you an idea how much bandwidth is being used per session.
