I've gt a project I'm working on for work where I add pieces of movies to a PowerPoint, as they are relevant to the subject. They will not be long clips...maybe 1 to 3 minutes, top. I'm just wondering what is the best app to use for the job. I've only done this a few times and I've used AVI Splitter: AVI Splitter - software to split AVI video files I'm curious if anyone recommends another app for this...

I've recently come across Allok Video Splitter, I use it to cut out portions of vids I want to use for sigs, works great. Before I had to use Winavi to convert the whole clip to a format Windows Movie Maker could use, now I use Allok Video Splitter to pull out just the section I want and save the file in wmv, avi, or a couple other formats. It's easy to use and works very well.
