You probably don't have the proper codec installed to hear the audio. What format are you trying to convert to?

Yeah really it's better to use specialty programs to convert avi to dvd. I've never tried DVDSanta, a lot of our regulars use VSO Convertxtodvd. You'll need the full version to convert the file without a watermark of any kind.

dvdsanta is cool, cause you can add multiple files onto one dvd in one step...and it joins them as well. So all you do is track ahead to advance, cause it places trackmarks about every 5-7 minutes I think. If i remember...if it's a single file going to dvd,you can also add subtitles in one step as well. I havent tried but i think it can.

I'm using WinAVI and I'm having a problem recently. Everytime I put in an AVI file to convert to DVD format I get the following error message:

"Can't decode this file! Maybe the file is broken or the relative decoder is not installed!"

I can run the movie fine on DivX, but the video does not show up on winamp. I'm guessing I need to download a codec or something..? But which one?
