Been meaning to add.... these speakers are freakin awesome! They are a bit pricey, but they support HD Audio, Pro Logic I and II, and DTS 5.1. If you can tell the difference between any of those, then you're a better man than I. The bass is crisp and clear, no rattling at all. The surround effect is excellent, they are loud enough to drown out a Vantec 80mm Tornado fan spinning at 6500RPM. I find myself looking around thinking I hear something when I realize it's just the surround sound picking up a background sound in a movie. The volume is adjustable to each speaker, 500 watts is plenty of boom. The control center is really neat, it's small, sits on a desk, and it has a nice amount of features. It also comes with a wireless remote. I have no real complaints, can't think of a single con except maybe the price.
I can't say anything against the X-530, I had them for a year and they are excellent sound quality for the price. However, if you have the dinero, the Z 5500 is just on another level. Buy em!
