Anyone has experience with this? I'm thinking of getting a used Gba Sp and then get this
http://www.modchipman.com/gba-ezflas...kit-p-175.html But I realize it says 1Gbit, that's only equal to like 125MB right? That can't hold a lot of roms.

I figure it should hold enough to keep you interested, they you can just get rid of those and put on something new.
I know the disc i have for handheld roms and emulator for Xbox was somewhere between 3-4GB in size. But that was tons of games for all different systems. If those same roms would work let me know and i can find a way to get you a DVD ![]()

What flash disk are you guys using? Can the GBA play all the roms? Cuz I saw this:
EZ-FLASH I 128Mbit Only play the game less or equal to 128Mbit EZ-FLASH I 256Mbit Only play the game less or equal to 256Mbit EZ-FLASH I 512Mbit Only play the game less or equal to 512Mbit EZ-FLASH 2 128Mbit Only play the game less or equal to 128Mbit EZ-FLASH 2 256Mbit Only play the game less or equal to 256Mbit EZ-FLASH II 512Mbit Only play the game less or equal to 512Mbit EZ-FLASH II 1Gbit Can play all game theoretically (Requires PassMe / EZPass) EZ-FLASH III 1Gbit Only play the game less or equal to 256Mbit EZ-FLASH III 2Gbit Only play the game less or equal to 256Mbit To get the better gaming experience, please buy an EZ2 1Gb or wait the EZ4!! So only one version of Ez flash can play all GBA roms, theoretically. What the hell? So any games bigger than 512Mbit cannot be played. I have a lot of GBA roms and all of them except for 7 are bigger than 512Mbit.

I personally have a 512 Mbit EZ-Flash II and I've had no troubles backing up any GBA games, though the biggest I tried was Riviera. To my knowledge a normal GBA cart can't hold past 512 Mbits, though I can be mistaken. I know NDS roms can be up to about 1 Gigabit so if you're at all interested in getting a NDS, then invest yourself in a 1 Gbit flash cart.
There's also crazy carts that accept SD cards, so you have expandable and alot more storage! =D (1 Gigabyte SD = 8 Gigabit Flash Cards Approx) Bottom line, don't go with anything less then 512 Mbit! Factor in the cost if that's a concern. And make your decision. |
