Nintendo's Wii to include Opera Web Browser

Apparently Nintendo has decided to provide a web browser with their next-gen console the Nintendo Wii. According to the article it will be the Opera Web Browser.

I think it only makes sense to have some sort of web page reader, especially with the x360 being tied to live so much and all. The question I would have if I were a developer of one of those consoles would be why not include one?

Agreed. Opera is popular browser, that's a very innovative idea. Maybe Sony will counter with FF lol. Yeah, right.

According to this article the ps3 will have a web browser. That leaves the MS bunch out in the cold.

Well, MS says that they can change/add/take away just about anything through the updates, so I for one hope they add a web reader to their list. Certainly not IE, thats for sure.

But a web reader would be nice but the dont want a keyboard to be used with the xbox some they may not add one
