A french website claims that Red Steel for the Nintendo Wii cost 10 million Euro's to develop ($12m dollars). This is one of the most promising third party titles for the Wii and we're sure Ubisoft will be happy when it eventually hits the shelves.

$12 mill to develop a game??
Movies have cost less, I'm not much of a console gamer, correct me if I'm wrong but thats a lot of money. I suppose it is a next gen game, but that development price is way up there... It had better be worth it.

Its a lot of money but lets hope that doesn't mean we have to pay for it with a high RRP
