With its unique controls and game features, Wii is indeed changing how people play games. Not only that, Nintendo's next-gen console is trying to widen the market, trying to entice women and casual gamers to join in. Also, in an attempt to foster family relationships, Wii is leaving the battle for hardcore gamers between PS3 and X360. Or is it really?
A Nintendo deal that is available for Australians. Fans from the land down under can actually get a free Wii console by trading-in current-gen consoles Xbox or PS2. Couple either of these with 25 of its games and that's it. The Australian price for Wii is around $399.95. Read more HERE

I can't get the link to work. I would totally do it. I have a non-modified PS2 V14.

Hmm, might be worth it if you have a load of old games lying around I guess.. but $400AUS is a good price anyway.. that's about £170
But if you traded in your old PS2 and 25 games which you can get around £5-10 each on second hand selling anyway... that's around £125-£250 anyway that you could have made by selling second hand games.. then sell your console at around £40-£50, you'd be better off that way.. you could sell your games and console and buy a Wii and still have money left over in most cases ![]()
