'TheWiikly' are running an article which looks at their perceived similarities between the NES (1986) and the Wii (2006). Some of their points raised include at both stages, Nintendo advertise their machines as a family friendly console while the 'hardcore gamers' went for the Amiga or C64 and today they'll go for the Xbox 360 or PS3 instead.
