NINTENDO Wii

Hi guy's

Important extract from my local free bus service paper, i cut out the following extract on 21.12.06, read the following info ?

LIGHT'S GET IN THE Wii ?

CHRISTMAS tree light's are wrecking game's on Nintendo's sensitive must have Wii console.

The indoor decoration's are interfering with electronic signal's from the remote control to the £179.99 machine, and confusing it, so that it no longer recognise's games.

Hundred's of fed up fans have clogged up Wii websites complaining about games cutting out as they waved the interactive remote. A Nintendo technician said yesterday: "the tree lights can confuse the sensor bar so turns them off."

The firm is also replacing 3.2 million wrist straps after complaints that people have been hurt because they are flimsy and break.

What do you guy's think of that ?:-|

OK, first off I don't think it was written by that guy as it's very similar (in fact identical) to the one in the daily mirror tabloid.. but anyway besides the point, lol.
Yeah, It sucks.. you'd have though that they would have done testing on the machines wireless function to check if things would interfere.. and xmas lights of all things??? if xmas lights make it do that imagine having it sit next to other electronic devices then.. I for one am glad I didn't want a Wii in the first place.. just one more reason why I don't buy things as soon as they come out, things always seem to get released without the bugs ironed out.. so I wait for a while and see what problems have occured with the first gen.
