Well this is what Nintendo has to say about it :
A Nintendo of Europe spokesperson has stated that recent noise of a Wii hard drive sparked by Japanese gaming mag Gamelabo is just a pure rumour and speculation. Although Nintendo did confirm that there are plans to product a new headset for the DS handheld console to take part in onine voice chats.

But a Nintendo of Europe spokesperson told GamesIndustry.biz that any such reports are "pure rumour and speculation".
However, Nintendo has confirmed that there are plans to produce a new headset for the DS handheld. It will allow players to take part in online voice chats and is due to go on sale alongside Pokémon Diamond and Pearl in the US next month, according to website Gamespot.
