Wii Burn in

hey guys,
just got a wii and i wanna play it on my plasma, but im not sure about burn in or whatever, just wondering if the map and sh*t like ammo and stuff on any game (GTA for instance, map in bottom corner) i just want to know if this stuff is going to burn into my screen if i play for like max of 5 hrs, (example lol)

Plasma will burn no matter what, just a matter of time. Sometime it just take longer, but slowly it will get there. Mostly bright colors will cause it, so just hope that game doesn't have to much vivid colors.

You see blue/green/red/white dots on the LCD. Thats basically it...

minor pixel problems can be rubbed out,but once you get a bad one it's pretty much there for good. You would think the screens would have some sort of degauss feature or something that you could hit every now and then to 'shake it up' a bit. OR Have an un noticable 4 square rotation sequence that the screen could do....kinda like the old projections...but a little more quaint.

The Wii does have a burn in setting somewhere in the settings menu. I can't remember where it's at, but I remember reading about it when I first setup my Wii. Plus I never bothered to go look for it since I have an LCD screen. Can't wait for the back light to blow or the inverter to go out or pixels to start dropping out or some crazy crap that will make me curse LOL!!
