I don't have a d-link, but I would think that it should work alright depending on how you have your wireless security setup. First of all, with the DS, it only supports WEP encryption, and even if you setup the connection manually, if you have your SSID broadcast turned off, it will never see it. Even on routers that are listed as supported. I don't know why this is, but the DS is quite popular in my neighbor hood and sometimes a few of us get together and play against each other through multiplayer and I have to reconfigure my router every time. I don't think the Wii is that picky and I also think the Wii supports WPA as well as WEP, but I do know that the Wii will work if you setup your connection manually if you turn off the SSID broadcast.
Best wireless router you can get for Nintendo consoles is a Buffalo router, one that has AOSS. Setup is a breeze with one of those.

You should be able to select that option from within your d-link router configuration. To access your router, go to start-->run and type cmd
in the command prompt, "type ipconfig /all" minus the quotes. Type in the address of the default gateway in a non-AOL browser, and you should be able to access router options. From within those options, you should be able to change your SSID settings. This guide can show you how to adjust SSID name settings (name of your wireless network) from within Windows: Wireless Adapter Configuration in XP To enable it though, you will have to find the option within your router's network configuration. Here's the d-link homepage for your router: D-Link DI-524UP High-Speed 2.4GHz(802.11g) Wireless Router With USB Print Server
