Slow down single screensaver

I don't know very much about graphic cards, but i need to slow mine down for some screen savers i borrowed off of win98.
I've got an ATI Visiontek Radeon X1300 (confusing name) agp 512mb card
The screen savers work at a fine speed before I install drivers on a fresh install of Xp but after they just seem to go crazy.
I've tried lowering the graphic acceleration rate and it worked, but then it made some screen savers inoperable.

Or if there is a screen saver similar to the windows blocks screen saver a link would be great.
All help is appreciated. Thanks

Really, there isn't much need for screensavers. I leave them disabled, as they tend to interfere with all kinds of stuff. Mind you I have a CRT monitor, but I don't think burn-in effects LCD's either. I'm not 100% on that.
