Got bored today, and I needed something to do. So I decided to do a few benchmarks on my 8800GT.
![]() Here are the benchmark results on both 3DMark05 and 3DMark06, with both SLI and non-SLI scores. Imma post up benchmark scores for the GTX next week, gotta wait for my aftermarket cooling fan. Idle at 60C isn't a walk in the park ![]() All bench test are on the same pc. As most people want to know, is it really worth running 2 8800gt or running 1 8800GTX. I would throw in my input, but I rather let the results from next week bench do the talking. To me, the score of running SLI is kinda low, I would of think it would be higher. All scores are at stock clock. Running SLI is not really worth, since you can buy a highend card, for possibly cheaper than a SLI lowerend card.

Push it hard! LOL. I pushed mine to about 3.8Ghz, it boots, but crashes when I run firefox. So back to 3.2Ghz for me. Im running an older BIOS, and thats whats stopping it from being stable. I cant even update the bios either, cause its a Alienware board which I got from a friend. But from what I notice, on the Quads, everyone 200Mhz you OC, you get about 100-300 points on 3DMark, of course you must close all applications to get best score.
Now, on my todo list, TRI-SLI!!! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
