rebuild/rip?

I'm trying to copy destroy all humans 2 w/ dvd decrypter but at about 95% of completion I get an error saying there is not enough space. I guess this means the game will not fit on the 4.7 gig dvd. My question is what's the easiest way to make it fit, I don't understand if I need to rebuild or rip or if they both mean the same thing. I tried to use ripit4me and it won't read the original disk. I have an internally moded PS2. Thanks it advance for any help.

That's how much free HD space you have. Look in the right portion of DVD Decrypter under disc information, size is listed.

Should fit on a DVD-5 (single layer disc) , you are burning to a DVD, not a CD right? I'm not sure why you'd be getting that error on a blank, unless the DVD-/+R's you're using aren't included in the firmware for your burner, or you're using DVD+/RW's. What's the Media ID of the discs you're using?

91. Q. What is the Media ID of a DVD and how can I find it?
A.The Media ID of a DVD is the true measure of it's quality. It contains prerecorded info about the disc's manufacturer. The quality of the disc will vary depending on the media code. The media code isn't visible on the disc or the packaging. To check the media ID, Open DVD Decrypter, insert your disc, and check what it says under Media ID or Manufacturer ID. You can also use a program called DVD Identifier which is very useful. You can find it here: DVD Identifier - Your DVD, HD DVD & Blu-ray Companion
Compare the Media ID to this link: digitalFAQ.com | Blank DVD Media Quality Guide

DVD+R 4.7 GB. I get the not enough space error from DVD Decrypter while it's reading the original. At that point it doesn't even know what blank media I'm going to use.

Could you post a screencap of the error you're getting? You can take a screencap by hitting alt+printscreen and pasting it into MS Paint.

Here's a bitmap of the error. It can't mean not enough space on the hard drive, I have about 230GB of unused space on the external drive it's using for the destination.

Dunno, that is strange, can't say I've ever encoutered this before. Maybe DVD Decrypter just doesn't take to your setup, there are other options. Try Alcohol 120% or Nero for starters, and see if those will do the job.

Guide for Both:
