Smile My modchip!

I take apart my ps2 and see the modchip is Pro-3 CG-368

Is there any way to make it support dual layer backup disc? I want to play Rogue Galaxy ;-)

Nope. Older/garbage modchips wouldn't even support DVD-9 originals. That's why it's important to research them beforehand. If it doesn't support DVD-9 originals, it definitely doesn't support DVD-9 backups, there's nothing you can do except get a modchip that does like the Matrix Infinity Green Dot, Crystal Chip 2.0, or DMS 4 Pro SE. If you do that, make sure to get a professional to mod it or that you are capable of installing it yourself, you'd have to desolder the current chip and solder in a new one. Your only option for Rogue Galaxy is to use one of the many rips floating around or rip your own DVD-5 copy.
