Try using the CD/DVD Gen rebuild method.

My only advice would be to extract with apache, the use cd dvdgen make a iml, then use iml2iso to make a new iso (all these apps are available in the dl secion, and we have tuts for each also). After that burn with dvd decrypter. In your case I am not sure if this is necessary, buy if you can extract the data with apache i know taking all these extra steps will in fac work.

No sir, as a matter a fact i tried to burn with 2 other types of media ( verbatium and a generic) and still no luck. I'm in the process of locating a good no strached working copy and see if i can burn. Then i'll know if the disk that i have is unreadable or if it's missing something thats making me get the red screen on the ps2. Does it matter if you extract the iso or will the ps2 read it just the same if it is not extracted

If you extract the iso, you'd need to burn it with a UDF/ISO DVD with Nero. You've experienced the problem with that method already- no files over 2GB's. It's most likely just a damaged disc image, most likely a non-damaged copy will work fine. Just rip a non-scratched disc with DVD Decrypter and burn it, shouldn't have any probs.
