Not that I know of, you can buy those 32mb memory card, but there are usually a risk of having a corrupt game save.

With a Max drive, you can transfer your save files to a HD for temporary storage. Or, if you have the network adpater and a fat PS2, you can FTP save files to and from your PC with a program called ExecFTP.

You have to hook up your PS2 to the network cable and setup your network. It may only upload files to the Memory Card, not transfer them back and forth.

Ignore the part about the exploit, you can install ExecFTP to your memory card using your modchips boot manager, and boot it in devolution mode. Then just follow the guide.

No, ARMAX comes with a thumbdrive that works with PS2, normal ones won't work.

That's what you need:

Max Drive PS2

Guide:

Mastering MAX Drive for PS2

You should be able to use ExecFTP to setup a server and transfer files with a FTP all like FlashFXP. If you have a network adadpter for the fat PS2, then you do the following.

1. Download latest ExecFTP: http://sksapps.com/execftps/ExecFTPs_standalone0_69.rar

2. Burn it to CD-R with Nero (CD-ROM iso, mode 2) and install it to your memory card through your chips firmware menu/MC manager.

3. Figure out how to boot elf files off your MC (usually done by holding one of the trigger buttons at boot) and launch ExecFTP.

4. Then just setup your PC network according to the guide, and you should be able to transfer saves to and from your PC to PS2.

If that's too much work, then just get the Maxdrive.

No one or the other will allow you to transfer files back and forth, not both. If you already have the network adpater for the PS2, then you might as well take a shot at getting ExecFTP running, if not, then the maxdrive will do the same thing for a litte bit of money.
