PS2 Torrent question

hey guys i have been DLing games for the past few days and my 1st 4 are finally done. but when i unzipped them there were multiple zip files within then. for instance i DL a game called Mega Man X collection. there were zip files 1 through 35 so i started to unzip one of them and there was the iso and mds file but it was the full 2.98 Gigs that it should have been. does that mean i only have to unzip one of the files to get it running?

As long you see zip files, keep unzipping them, til you get an image file (IMG, ISO, CUE, BIN, MDS, MDF, CCD, SUB, ect)

i unzipped another game just now called Atelier Iris: Eternal Mana and the same thing 1-34 zip files so i just decided to unzip them all and when i got to the second zip it asked me if i wanted to replace the ISO i had already unziped from the 1st file. so i am to assume that it's all the same thing

Yeah, it is. Where ever you unzipped the first file, you should see your image file.

The ISO is just split up into 34 pieces and linked together by WinRar numerically. The first number in the series is the only one you should have to extract. Sometimes you will see gamefile01.rar, gamefile02.rar, gamefile03.rar......etc. gamefile01 is the one to start with in this case. Other times you may see gamefile01.rar, gamefile02.rar, gamefile03.rar, gamefile.rar. In this case, gamefile.rar is the one to open.

Basically when you get archived files.. you usually unzip the first file, the program automatically searches for the other files attached to that archive to make the whole original file(s)

if they are zip files, start with .zip file.
if they are rar files start with part1.rar (usually)
HJsplit files star with .001
