on the slim line of ps2s the two metal plates that are covering the mobo, i just modded one of those a while ago and when i plug the power in it looks fine then i hit the power/reset button and it turns green for about 2 seconds then goes back to red. do all of the pins on the plates have to be touching the spots on the mobo? I have a few where the chip is that don't touch no matter what i do. i even have the replacement plates which are better then the original.
