I have one of the last model "big" style ps2s. I plan to buy a network adaptor so i can load the games off of a hard drive. I would also like to put the backup disc in the disc drive and have the ps2 auto boot the game too.


What chip would you fellas recommend for my needs?

So I found the modchip Faq, and i stopped reading when I got to the DMS4 Pro.

However, none can be found. I see solderless DMS' but that's it. Half of the sites on the FAQ either are all out of stock, or are shut down! WTF.

A couple of months ago there was a giant raid in the US that targeted shops that sold mod chips, that is why most of the links do not work anymore.

It's pretty much going to be extremely difficult to find modchips in the U.S. anymore. So your best bet is to look elsewhere for modchips.
