ok ive been wanteing to do it for some time noow but never had the chance to do it. How can i hook up my PS2 to my PC so that I can use my PC monitor and everything.

You can, with the right tools. Some PC monitors do not have RCA input, and some do. Most likely your doesn't, so you will need either a RCA to VGA converter box or a capture card for the PC.

i see so i need a capture card. And whqats this RCA to VGA cord i cannot find a right one for the PS2

There is no real RCA to VGA cord. It has to go through a box. There is only DVI to componenets.

meh forget it. I'll just snag a capture card. goy any ideas on a good one just to do the basic playing of the PS2. Nothing really fancy
