what is a good program to clean the pc

I think I have alot of temp files and other crap thats slowing my pc down. What are some good programs to clean them up?

For the most part you can chuck stuff in the temp folder. A lot of programs stick temporary stuff there while installing and don't bother to clean up after themselves. I'm not telling to just delete everything in your temp folder, just saying that most stuff can in there prolly isn't real useful. I personally use System Mechanic 6's junk file cleaner to get rid of excess stuff, it's always a good idea to create a restore point before messing with Windows system folders.

YES yoiucould use cccleaner, it is a great little app, and does a good job iof getting rid of crap that has been left by other ibnstall/uninstall's and so on. and there are some good feature's for setting it up the way you like :-D

I also would recommend CCleaner for getting rid of temp crap

I decided to get system mechanic Pro. It cleared gigs of hd space for me

A good registry cleaner is good to have. Lots of bad footprints left behind and broken links within the system itself that can be cleaned out.
