At school, I am unable to access a number of files on the server. I was wondering if there was a way to give myself Administrator privileges or atleast better my privileges. Currently I am locked out of certain folders and can not write to the drive. Any help would be appreciated.

And what are you exactly trying to accomplish? You dont have privilages to those files for a reason.

I dont have access to those file because the school is afraid that a student will delete important files or save inappropriate files on the drive. My reason for doing this is so that I can share documents with my friends through out school. But I dont believe this matters, I'm just wondering if someone can help me. I dont need to be questioned about why I'm doing this.

Yes trying to get into a privliged area in your schools server is our business, and no we will not help you do that.
