Help me with the Anti necessities

I need a good anti-spyware and anti-spam app. Tried to download Ewido but there with AVG now or whatever that website said. I have AVG Anti-Virus so I"m gud with that.
Now I did the PC Pitstop Optimize free scan and my results were:

There are 4 unwanted programs that are currently starting whenever your system boots. By removing these programs, you will get better performance, lower memory usage, and less clutter in your system tray.
We did not find any unwanted programs that start when your system boots. PC Pitstop regularly updates its list of unwanted programs; by using Optimize regularly you can avoid these problems.
We identified 10 settings for Windows, Internet Explorer, and/or Firefox that can be tweaked to improve Internet performance.
Your settings for Windows, Internet Explorer, and/or Firefox appear to be tuned for best Internet performance. Using Optimize regularly will help to keep them that way.
You skipped Internet optimization; to optimize your Internet connection go back to the first page and select your connection type. We tentatively identified 1 settings that can be tweaked to improve Internet performance.
Your drive has 4981 junk files totalling 157.63 megabytes. Optimize can clean the Reycle Bin, temporary files, and Internet caches that can clog the drive and cause excessive fragmentation.
There were no junk files found on your system. These may cause incorrect operation of some applications.
*** I copied and pasted my optimization summary, but the ones highlighted in red didn't show up until I pasted them here. WTH is the deal with that?

Help Please and THANX

I'm not sure how much stock I put in some of those free online scans. For AV Trend Micro House Call isn't too bad, but most are just ads for you to buy their products.

AVG is a decent free Anti-Virus. AVG Anti-Spyware was merged with AVG Anti-Virus as part of the AVG 8 Suite, so they lost my business. AVG AV is okay, but there are certainly better ones, and the Anti-Spyware is top notch. However since AVG Anti-Spyware merged with AVG AV, I just don't feel comfortable with it anymore. Usually when two products combine, they both get weaker. That may not be the case here, but I'll not be renewing my AVG Anti-Spyware because it merged with AVG AV.

If you want to use AVG Free it's not a bad idea for your AV. Otherwise Spyware Doctor in Tandem with AVG Anti-Virus is a good way to go.

But Spyware Doctor doesn't remove the existing threats does it?

Well it depends if those threats are in Spyware Doctor's definitions or not. No single Anti-spyware app picks up all threats. The best you can do is scan with a couple good ones and use good security precautions on your PC. Spyware Doctor and Nod32 are pay apps. You could try Windows Defender, it's a free anti-spyware program that you can run alongside AVG Free. Get it here: Windows Defender: Home Page
