Mike Ness... lead singer for Social Distortion. I hate punk, but my friend is a huge fan. One time of his buddies (after much drinking) suggested Mike plays for the other team, my friend had to be restrained from fighting him lol.

Yeah, it was probably the eye shadow that made him think that. But that just comes with the genre. My music taste encompasses a wide range of music - spanning different genres, but Social D is my all time favorite band. More the Mike Ness solo stuff. Punk with a Rock-a-billy country influence. I like bluegrass and roots country and punk, and Mike Ness just combines the 2 so well. Even Social D as a group shows that influence in their music. My favorite song has to be the country version of "Ball and Chain."

But yeah, sorry about your friend....Social D fans are passionate about Mikes masculinity. I don't doubt it after being to his shows :-P Plus he's got one or 2 kids I believe.
