There is a new homebrew called PANDORA'S BATTERY Psp Unbricker/Downgrader that will allow users to unbrick a PSP. You need a PSP with 1.50 or CF for this application.

You can also downgrade your 3.51 or 3.52 offical firmware PSP with the Jigkick Battery. In order to do this you will need to know somebody that has a PSP with 1.50 offical firmware or CF.

I have a friend that did this and according to him, it works great. You do have to have the official 1.50 eboot though, just in case someone tries it, the instructions I don't think mentions it, but thats the only thing that he said he ran into. It even detects the motherboards that need patching and patches for you. I just ordered a new battery yesterday and now I just have to find me a cheap enough memory card to make my own jigkick and magic MS with.
