Question PSP movie questions for a noob!

I am purchaseing a new PSP Slim today. I am wondering does anyone know the best (and easiest) way to convert movies (either DVD or Divx or whatever format) to be put on a memory card and watched on a PSP? I have DVDFab Platinum which has a DVD to PSP conversion but I do not know how well this will work or what kind of quality this will be. Also do you have to make any mods to your PSP to play movies (or games for that matter) from the memory card? Beleive me I am a complete Noob with this as I have never owned a PSP but am excited about the new Slim and it's PSP to TV connections. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks all.:coolp:

Nope no mods needed. The lite has already been hacked, there will be a custom firmware sometime soon so look for it. Movies are in .mp4 format, so the quality is not to great but still looks ok on the small screen.

Cant really help too much, I dont know if the new psp has the same file setup (although I am sure it does.) If so, to get the movies on the mem stick, simply connect the psp to your comp, and put your .mp4 in the VIDEO folder. Play the video off the xmb, done
