I just bought a new PSP Slim (which by the way is awsome!) I used Xilisofts DVD to PSP conversion software to take one of my DVD's (it was a back up of one of my own) and put it on the memory stick. Works great except that when it converted the DVD it converted it in multiple chapters which when it was put on the mem stick it was also in multiple chapters and not in order. Is there a way to put them all in one chapter and play them in order or do I have to play each chapter individually if I want to watch?
Oh and another question: In everyones own opinions which is the BETTER video convertor? Which is the best for AVI, Divx, Xvid, etc to PSP? Is there one program that does all of these?

Xilisoft Converter for the PSP is bad, since it uses Xvid. I strongly suggest you use WinAVI MP4 Converter instead.

Totally true, I have nothing to lose! I think I will try WinAVi MP4, PSPvideo9 and 3GP tonight an see which i like better. I want something that won't take up huge amounts of my memory stick so I might be able to put 2 at a time on my 1gb stick. Right now the movie I put on took up about 550mb. Sucks.
I'll tell you I love my new PSP (yeah first time owner here) and I compared it to my daughters original PSP and there is quite a differance.:coolp:

PSPvideo9 is bad, in many cases.... It have alot of useless ads, it converts slow, and limited options. Just try WinAVI MP4 first, im 100% sure you wont be disappointed

Alright sounds good. I was wondering how good a "freeware" program would actually be.

So Kam I just got WinAVI MP4 and it does work great (a little slow but so was Xilisoft). The problem I am haveing now is that from a single movie it creates such a huge file (almost a full gig for a 2 hr and 20 minute movie). I tried to make a few adjustments and retry, such as adjusting frame rate and bitrate and so on (not really haveing a clue as to what I am doing) the movie came out a 626MB which isn't to bad but the video is very jittery and a little pixelated. Any suggestins on what settings I should use when takeing a movie and converting?

Encoding MP4 movies can be hard; the higher the bitrate, the better the quality is gonna be, lower it is, it will be pixelated. I will try a few configurations when I get home. How fast the encoding in WinAVI, for me I get about 120-150 fps encoding. A full movie, would take about 10 mins, xilisoft would take me about 30+ mins.
