my psp

Hey peeps

I am just curious, my psp is update version 1.50, i am wondering if it is possible to downgrade this update, and enable me to have linux/other apps upon my psp, i am sure that you guys will know if this is possible for me to do, or someone to explain it to me.

Currently it does run fine,. and it is very impressive, although it is sometimes hard to see the screen if sat on the bus (that does sound sad ha ha) but i am always curious as to this can be done, and what will i achieve ? :chef:

Nope no linux. You can install a custom firmware and be able to customize every aspect of you psp though. New xmb's, homebrew, emulators etc are all readily available. I can find links if need be.

Hi stang,

Strange, i did not receive a reply in an email, when you answered or posted about this for me, if you could send me the link or post it, to have a custom firmware, for different xmb's that would be great, and is it really difficult, and if i did use a custom firmware??? would that also mean that i could not update using the psp update system, within the psp????

Thanks SS:chef:
