I have a new PSP slim which I am thinking about downgradeing with custom FW. The question I have is which of the NES, SNES, N64 and PS1 emulators are the best? I understand this is opinion based but I really have no idea. Any suggestions?:stupids:

The PS1 is built in? I am not sure what that means, what a noob I am. So any PS1 roms will just work with it?

As long as you convert the image to an eboot it will play. There is more to it then that, but in short, Sony's pops (the name of their built in emulator) will play pretty much any ps1 game you throw at it. A great thread for beginners can be found here [TUTORIAL] PSX games on PSP - Complete guide/n00bs guide. - MaxConsole Forums
Keep in mind the cfw's talked about are very outdated, but the concepts are the same using modern cfw.

So I was just talking with the guy that is going to install the 3.71 M-33 firmware for my PSP and he told me the ONLY working emulator for the PSP Slim is SNES9x. Is this true or have they gotten more of them to work? I mean SNES games are the main games I want but I may want to do others. Is ther like a custom very noob friendly guide to PSP slim firmware, emulators, ROMS and how to use them? Just really want to make sure that this is all going to be worth while.
