My PSP's joystick seems to work fine. When i go to enter text for a browser or whatever everything goes crazy and i cant type. I have had it for under a year, im wondering if i should send it back to sony. WHat should i do??

oh and also i cant go back to the main menu. When i push the home button it goes to the quit game screen but it freezes. Is this a prob i can fix, or is sending it back to sony the best idea. Also, is it gonna cost me any money??

Sounds like you have issues with both your keys and your psp's hardware. Unless you know what you are doing, send it in for service. The problem with the freezing is fixable if you are running custom firmware, using a mixture of keycleaner and NANDtool could fix it. It could be corrupted idstorage.....hard to do anyting but speculate without providing proper information.
Here is a tut on opening the psp and getting to the nub, may want to fiddle with it. Or not, lol. PSP-Hacks.com / (TUTORIAL)HOW TO REPLACE PSP'S ANALOG Stick And check the warranty info that came with the psp lol, of course it will cost money if it is not under warranty. I had my psp since of the dawn of man, so I do not know the particulars with respect to Sony's warranty policy.

As you may know, in earlier posts. My PSP has been broken but i didnt really know. I got cfw and i am not sure if sony will know, even if i restore it to its original state. will sony know? I tried calling sony but they are closed? If its still under warranty, how much money will it cost me to get it fixed??? thanks
