using a USB stick as a memory card?

hi, I've been looking over the internet for ages, but can't seem to find a clear answer to my question. I want to know if it's possible to use my USB stick as a memory card for my ps2? Thanks.

just checked another forum and they say no. The usb flashdrive can only be used if the software running on the ps2 supports it.

A lot of people just keep their saves on a spare HD, then use ARMAX to transfer them back and forth to the MC. You can't save directly to the HD with HD Loader/Advance right now.

ok thanks, done a bit of reasearch myself and found out that by using ARMAX Evo, you can transfer files from a compatible USB to memory card. So I can use this method. Thanks for the help.
