Leopard: Change you logon background

Most people dont know how to do this, so Ill just post the quick tutorial.

1. Find the background you want to use. Or just use the one your using right now.
2. Go to System>Library>Core Services
3. Then look for a file called DefaultDesktop.jpg. That file is the background image for your logon screen. Make a backup, or dont, then delete it (requires password) then put your own image in and rename it DefaultDesktop.jpg.
4. Log out or restart to see your amazing image!.

BUT. If you just want to easily use your current background image for the logon background image then just download Desktop 2 Logon. Nifty little app..

Ahh sweet.

Do you know if there's a similar hack for leopard, that would allow different desktop backgrounds base on the 'Spaces' application

Basically a different background per space?

Thanks.
