There are 2 ways that I do it: You can duplicate the render layer and then apply a motion blur to one. The other way is to hide every layer except your render, select the render layer and then choose the Magic Wand tool and click an area, right-click and choose feather @ 5px and then press Del twice. Do this until you get every portion of the render, so that it looks like this:

You could use the Blur Tool (the water droplet in the toolbox) and just click around the edges of the render, thats EXACTLY what I did, really easy in fact.
