Post How to Reset Photoshop's Settings

How to Reset Photoshop's Settings (Preferences)
Tested and works with all version of Adobe Photoshop 6.5 to date...

Step 1: Make sure that Adobe Photoshop is closed.

Step 2: Enable view of hidden files on your computer
How: Open My Documents > Tools > Folder Options > View > Scroll to Show Hidden Files and Folders

Step 3: My Computer > Documents and Settings> "Username" > Application Data > Adobe > Photoshop > "version number" > Settings > here should be the file: Adobe Photoshop Prefs file.

Step 4: Delete the file and open Photoshop

More Info:
The Additional Preferences Files

In addition to the Prefs, the Adobe Photoshop Settings folder holds a variety of other files. You'll find separate files for the Actions palette, Brushes, Styles, Shapes, Swatches, and more. That's also the location of a folder called Workspaces, which holds your custom work setups.

What you won't find in the Settings folder are preferences for paths, Save for Web, or ImageReady. On the Macintosh platform, I believe the Save for Web and ImageReady generate their own preferences files, and a separate file is also created for Photoshop Paths. You'll find all three files in the same location as the Adobe Photoshop Settings folder. Color Settings is a separate file within the Photoshop Settings folder.

Good Luck!!

No problem, and you're welcome. From looking at that screenshot you showed me..it looked as though the feather setting had been made default somehow. Never-the-less, glad it helped you out!!
