Hope this proves useful to someone :-) (Tutorial divided into 2 parts due to size)
Resources: Apocalyptica Wallpaper C4D Tools (Mario Render, Star and Smudge Brushes) The Tools link is a zipped file with the Mario render psd file and the 2 brushes used in the tutorial. I made it one file in case someone does not have a rapidshare account. You can still download 1 free file from them at a time if you don't have an account!
