Post 3d Text

3D TEXT

STEP 1:
Create a New Document about 400X300. Type the text you want to make 3D and center it then rasterize the text (Right Click on the text layer and select Rasterize Type).

STEP 2:
Select the text layer then Select Edit > Transform > Perspective. Grab right below the bottom left corner point and pull it to your left. When you get the perspective you want Double Click inside the box to apply the effect. The Select Filter >Stylize >Emboss and apply
Angle 145/Height 3/Amount 151.

STEP 3:
Select the text layer. Hold down Ctrl+Alt and Press the up arrow and you will notice the thickness of your text to increase. Stop Pressing up when you 've reached the thickness you prefer.

Your image should look something like this:

Now be creative with backgrounds, text colors, shadows, etc...

NOTE: THE IMAGE ABOVE CONTAINS THE FOLLOWING...
- Gradient Overlay (Red, White, & Blue)
- Bevel & Emboss (default Settings)
- Dropped Shadow (default settings)
- Backgroung Layer (Red & White) is a Cloud Render
- The image as a whole has a 1 pixel stroke

Nice one tECh!!

Helped this noob figure out a new way to make text. Heck, it also helped me learn how to use numerous layers correctly in PS!

Thanks. It's really easy and like anything with Photoshop, I'm sure the variations of the final product and how to get it are endless.
