PS2 Parental Password Reset.

Thanks to MAG for the original link to this. I needed to reset my password, and didn't know how, so now that MAG has been kind enough to link me to this I'm shareing it.

EDIT: I don't reccomend doing this if your a minor and your parents have blocked it off. So, yea, keep your pr0n away from the ps2. =D

When it asks for the password, push [select]

the screen will change, but it won't be very noticible

it still asks for a password, and you need to enter [7-4-4-4]

it will now ask you to set a new parental password. choosing [0-0-0-0] is a good choice, so that you only need to mash the [X] button to start a movie.

Just passin along the info.

Darlyle.

Always annoyed me on PS2 you couldn't disable it, at least I never knew a way. On Xbox, if you play DVD's through XBMC, there's no need to disable anything. If you use the dongle on an unmodded Xbox or DVDX2 Region Free on a modded box you still have to.
