![]() By tEChniiQue If you want to watch videos, listen to music, view pictures, or any other media from your Windows home network on your PS3 and/or 360...this guide will get you there... What you need: A home network created within Windows Router (Wired/Wireless or Combo) Windows Media player 11 (Installed) - (Vista Users, it comes pre-installed) Step 1: Ensure the console of choice is powered on and connected to the network Step 2: Open Windows Media Player on your desktop/laptop Step 3: In WMP11, select the drop down arrow under Library Step 4: Select Media Sharing ![]() Step 5: Check the "Share My Media" option, then click o.k. Step 6: The next window will display your console(s). XBOX 360s will be clearly identified on screen. PS3s will be displayed as an unknown device. ![]() Step 7: Select the drop down under library and go click "Add to Library" Step 8: Select "Advanced Options" Step 9: Select the "Add" button to manually input various drives you would like shared over your network for your PS3 and/or 360 to stream from. All Done!! XBOX 360 Owners: Select the Media Tab and either Music, Pictures, or Videos. Use the "x" button so you can change the source and your PC should be an option. Playstation 3 Owners: A Windows Media Player 11 icon should now be visible under Photos, Music, and Video. ENJOY!!
