Ok, if you all are familiar with the Psp's Custom Firmware, 3.XX OE-X, then you may or may not need this. I am going to tell you how to clear up some space in your PSP's flash0. What takes up space is flashing your psp with a custom firmware, changing the XMB icons, changing Gameboots, flashing your own fonts, and anything to do with flashing. If you flash to much, you will run out of space to flash. Anyways, onto clearing off some flash!
Things needed : 1. Psp with a custom firmware 3.03 or 3.10 - None others will work, not that i have tried. 2. Knowledge of reading and folowing directions clear. Thats all Alright. 1. First Cold boot your PSP into "Recovery Mode" If you dont know how, stop now! 2. Go to advanced-->Toggle USB(Flash0). It should now be an external disk on your computer. 3. Make a new folder somewhere on you desktop or wherever and copy over the whole Flash0 folder. This is needed if you screw up and dont feel like waiting to do a whole reflash of a Custom Firmware. ---------Onto the removing of Flash------- 1. This is really the only thing most people will have to do as it will clear upto 2.5 mbs of cleared Flash0 space. - This will get ride of the Japanese, Korean, and Chinese Fonts. Go the x:/font. Copy and paste the' ltn9.pgf ' twice, so you have 2 copies of the file. Delete jpn0.pgf. Rename one of the ltn.pgf to jpn.pgf. Now delete gb3s1518.bwfon. And now rename the 2nd ltn9.pgf to gb3s1518.bwfon All the other things that you can take out you really shouldn't have to. They only take off about0.02 mbs each. But if you like to know about which ones to take out. Feel free to post and ask.
