Hello bobert102

Form the look of the actual splinter cell game in the tut, it looks as though that the the first game iof the serie's of the splinter cell games??? I do not have that one myself, so I used AUF (agent under fire) and AR (action replay)

what are the chances of turning my xbox into a big paper weight doing this? and how can i restore the xbox to like it was from the factory?

i geuss what im asking is, is it safe to do this or is there like a 50/50 chance that my xbox gos up in smoke or works

I messed one up by loading the wrong BIOS I think, and just exchanged it at Best Buy. It's really not that hard. I can hack one in a few minutes. Be sure to look at your kernal version under system before you start and always back up c first when you perform the softmod and then transfer your eprom bin file to your computer so you can make at new hard drive, or restore your old one in the future if needed. Trust me you won't want it factory once you get it softmodded. The great part about softmodding is you don't have to open the console up.

Just a hint; In order to replace the broken controller that came with your xbox most places have to do a full exchange, they can't just replace the controller. So don't be scared to do it, just read up. Don't be afraid to ask someone for help either.

is there an all round guide for this like installing the bios and then backing up the drive and restoreing it also....... cuz i really dont wanna fry this thing i aint got the cash to get a new one.........
