just a little rant

Well,I got my Nix box running again YAY for me. Anyways,I went to get a copy of nero because I'm kinda tired of using k3b. Mainly bacuse I'm not a big KDE fan....and roast or nautalis just doesn't cut it for me.

Well the whole story is about crackheads that put linux torrents up in rar form. I know there are decent rar packages...but when everyone knows that default is zip or tar files....why wouldn't they choose one of these formats to pack there files in?

Just bugs me.

No worries,I got it sorted out....I still think it's stupid.

NERO YAY!!

I just like having the option of using nero with my linux.....k3b and roast are not bad at what they do,but nero is just a little more user friendly at some things.

....don't even get me started on the java install LOL. (that's another rant that's prolly gunna pop up sometime)

I remember having to install java for my firefox on my fedora machine...that was an interesting install, but not too bad. Then I was going to use some p2p program,I think it was either emule or limewire....I dunno. It wanted a different version of java...so to use that I had to install this different version.

Turned out that the two javas didn't like each other and my p2p program didn't launch anymore...and I couldn't get anything out of the java plugin in my firefox.

That was a bit of a headache to fix.

Java sounds like fun,I was thinking of taking a C++ course...but everything depends on whether or not I'm allowed to be re-trained. I goto a neurologist on march 15th to get my memory assessed....if I don't pass then I am legally un-employable. I would have to sit at home getting 950 dollars a month.
